Mets 2-0; K-Rod Saves Again
By: Chris Caraballo @ 11:48 AM
The Mets improved to 2-0 with a 9-7 win last night against the Reds. It was a thrilling back forth game in which the Mets prevailed.

JJ Putz and Frankie Rodriguez made it interesting last night with Putz giving up a run and K-Rod escaped a bases loaded jam in the 9th.

The first 2 games have been pretty solid for the Mets. They were a little sloppy on the field in yesterday's game. The offense has been OK; they've left too many runners in scoring position. Starting pitching has been pretty good; despite Pelfrey's first inning he settled in nicely. Bullpen, although a scare yesterday has been good.
